PAULINE KOUTNOUYAN

Bio

Pauline Koutnouyan (accordion, toy piano, percussion, tap dancing) is a multi-instrumentalist musician; trained in music from an early age. She followed her schooling in a CHAM class at the Conservatoire National de Région de Lyon where she obtained her DEM in musical training. She also trained at the National School of Music in Villeurbanne in the following specializations: transverse flute (DEM level), chromatic accordion, singing, choir direction, flute ensemble, tango workshop, Balkan music, orchestra and chamber music. . There she obtained her CFEM in transverse flute. She is also a graduate of Music and Musicology (Lyon2 University) and a graduate of the Training Center for Musicians Intervening in Schools (CFMI).

She plays as an accordionist, pianist and flautist in various projects: the Nouk's group, the Cie du Fruit du Chêne (vocal humor theatre), the Cie Soleluna, she also accompanies the singers Claire Sabbagh and Lily Luca and works with several amateur choirs in the Lyon region as an accompanying pianist and choirmaster. Pauline also trained in tap dancing at the Alice Kay studio.
