Hélène Phung invites you on a slow stroll: a subtle journey of words and music. With a repertoire of Asia, shamanic tales, travels..., she tells stories by folding origami: to the happiness of words is added that of paper, a non-binding support for the imagination… 

The shows are accompanied by origami foldings made on stage, folded and narrated calligraphy in addition to the subtle arts of orality!

Some stories are accompanied by a Koto musician from Japan

TALES FROM JAPAN

- "The garden of the 4 moons"
The 4 seasons of the year rub shoulders in the same garden. Visiting it is a pretext to discover Japanese culture and traditions through stories and songs. "Akisame" small rain of autumn, the boy who ate snow, Tintiko the sparrow of spring, Frogs & bamboos of summer... With dance with the fan and struck by bamboos. Very cool…

- "Tsuru" The flight of the crane
The famous tale of the crane, mixed with a Chinese tale of embroidery: a lot of poetry and emotions, for a tale nevertheless punctuated by Japanese onomatopoeia. Japanese music and songs. A tale of metamorphosis, linked to paper…

TALES FROM VIETNAM

- "Cuoi's fabulous journey"
Cuoi, this young boy of modest means will overcome his condition by accomplishing a fabulous journey through Vietnam. A tale about the facetious and wonderful episodes in the life of this orphan, a simple peasant who must use tricks to survive...

- "Tizozio"
1001 stories of birds of the world through foldings & songs, sound effects. Stories of the Snap-beak, the Tec-Tec bird, the tongue-cut sparrow (Japan), the mountain bird (South America) etc... Animated foldings

- "Les forest-ladies"
Wonderful and shamanic tales, struck with bamboo and Hang; the story of these forest-ladies, the women-vines who fly away at the edge of dreams...

TALE TOUR

- "Ginko"
The storyteller takes her group, notebook in hand to write haiku (Japanese poems), children and adults write under and on the trees. She tells stories during this literary and poetic wandering, strolling on the paths to the lotus pond... 

- "Origami storytelling walk" 
In connection with nature, gardens or the forest, the storyteller takes her audience on a storytelling walk, with origami folding; roses, dragonflies and butterflies will spring from his hands at the “Jardin des Mots”. A few poems and songs dot this green path, at the end of which you will end up with your head in the stars...
